About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join our Spark Internship Program, which runs for twelve weeks from May through August. You will work alongside experienced professional and technical employee-owners in your area of interest, including civil, environmental, construction, or geotechnical engineering. You will also participate in an intern cohort to learn about all aspects of the company.

- Collaborate with technical experts across the firm.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to civil or environmental engineering.
- Rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students are preferred.
- Related experience or leadership experience in campus, community, or work settings is preferred.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for technical roles.
- Ability to perform routine lifting of 40 to 50 lbs.
- You must meet the requirements of our Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference check program.
- You must have acceptable employment eligibility verification (I-9).
- Please note that out of town travel may be required.
