About the role#
S&ME is hiring for the 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program. This is a full-time, paid internship running for twelve weeks from May 2027 through August 2027. You will work within service lines including Civil Engineering, Environmental Services, Construction Services, and Geotechnical Engineering. You will be part of an intern cohort and work alongside experienced employee-owners.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in your area of interest.
- Work directly with professional and technical staff.
- Participate in professional development activities to help transition from campus to career.
- Engage with technical experts across the company.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a related degree program, specifically Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students are preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs.
- Related experience or leadership experience in campus, community, or work settings is preferred.
- Must meet requirements for the company Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference check program.
