About the role#
The Spark Summer Internship Program offers students a chance to work within our Civil, Environmental, Construction, and Geotechnical engineering service lines. You will join an intern cohort and work directly with our professional and technical employee-owners. This program is designed to help you transition from your studies to a professional career.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in your chosen field.
- Engage with technical experts across the firm.
- Participate in professional development sessions.
- Learn about the various aspects of our business.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Preference for rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students.
- Previous leadership experience in campus, community, or work settings is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs.
- Must meet the requirements of our Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference check program.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Status: Full-time.
- This is a paid internship. No visa sponsorship is provided.
