About the role#
S&ME is hiring for the Spark Summer Internship Program for 2027. This is a full-time, twelve-week program running from May 2027 through August 2027. You will work within service lines including Civil Engineering, Construction Services, Environmental Services, Geotechnical Engineering, and Transportation Design-Build.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside experienced professional and technical employee-owners.
- Join an intern cohort to learn about all aspects of the firm.
- Gain hands-on experience in your area of interest.
- Participate in professional development sessions to help transition from campus to your career.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a related degree program, specifically Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students are preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform routine lifting of 40 to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to meet requirements for the company Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference check program.
- Related experience or leadership roles in campus, community, or work settings are preferred.
