About the role#
The Technical Services & Operations internship provides students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects. Interns gain a corporate business sense by learning how individual departments contribute to the overall organization. This program focuses on developing problem-solving and public speaking skills through active participation in business meetings and departmental projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform duties as assigned, which vary depending on the specific department or area of placement.
- Participate in business meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Develop professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
- Demonstrate personal initiative by presenting information and interacting with all levels of management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, with a bachelor's degree required.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Human Resources.
- Intermediate proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Project.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly while building strong customer rapport.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
