About the role#
As a Creative Content and Social Media Intern, you will work with our Creative Content Manager to tell the Rovex story. You will help build our brand by creating visual content for our robotics projects. This role offers hands-on experience in a startup environment where you can build your portfolio and receive mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Capture photo and video content at our office, customer sites, and company events.
- Edit short-form videos for LinkedIn and other social media channels.
- Design graphics, flyers, and presentations.
- Organize creative assets like project files, photos, and videos.
- Brainstorm new ideas to share our work.
- Support social media, recruiting, and employer branding initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are organized, dependable, and eager to learn.
- You have an interest in photography, videography, graphic design, or marketing.
- You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or CapCut is helpful but not required.
- Experience creating content for social media or digital marketing is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in either Gainesville, Florida, or St. Petersburg, Florida.
- The schedule is flexible, typically requiring 5 to 10 hours per week.
- This internship is unpaid, though academic credit may be available through your institution.
