About the role#
The Capital and Inventory Accounting team at Rogers is looking for an intern to join as a Project Coordinator in Calgary. You will report to the Manager of Capital and Inventory Accounting and assist with project costing duties. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project managers to handle project setups, changes, and closures.
- Ensure all requirements for project setup and closure are met.
- Manage project closures and capitalization to ensure they happen on time.
- Coordinate process implementation and change management.
- Answer project-related inquiries from various parties.
- Communicate with senior management regarding projects that are over budget, inactive, or nearing their end date.
- Work with the ERP support team to resolve system issues.
- Perform monthly analysis with a focus on reporting accuracy and completeness.

- Current enrollment or background in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- A deadline-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
