About the role#
The Summer Analyst role at Rockbridge offers a hands-on experience within the financial services industry. You will support the team by performing financial analyses and contributing to the evaluation of hotel investments. This is a full-time, on-site position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial analysis and assist in reviewing potential transactions.
- Analyze competitive hotel markets and local market dynamics.
- Conduct due diligence and property inspections alongside senior team members.
- Organize data and prepare investment committee packages.
- Collaborate with the Investment, Capital Markets, Development, Portfolio Management, and Hospitality teams.
- Review monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, revenue management, group bookings, and STAR reports.
- Ensure loan covenant compliance by reviewing legal document provisions.
- Monitor funding requests for capital expenditures, renovations, and construction projects while coordinating with lenders and third-party firms.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising junior, senior, or master's candidate.
- Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-sensitive environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of financial statements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in finance, real estate, hospitality, private equity, accounting, or capital markets is helpful but not required.
