About the role#

This 12-month, full-time internship offers hands-on experience in the healthcare technology sector. As a Field Service Representative Intern, you will work alongside senior specialists to maintain complex diagnostic instrumentation, ensuring healthcare providers can deliver timely medical results. This role is designed to build foundational technical skills and provide exposure to the diagnostics industry.

What you'll do#

• Shadow senior Field Service Representatives to learn the installation, repair, and maintenance of diagnostic systems.
• Assist in routine preventative maintenance checks and technical service updates to minimize equipment downtime.
• Interpret software logs, technical information, and diagnostic tools to isolate the root causes of equipment malfunctions.
• Document technical activities following industry best practices for administrative accuracy.
• Provide technical support to clients in both English and French.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related technical field.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and verbal) is required.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a curiosity for how complex mechanical and electronic systems function.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain a calm presence when assisting clients under pressure.
• A valid Driver’s License is considered an asset.

Location & details#

• Location: Laval, Quebec.
• Term: Fall 2026 (12-month duration).
• Work Modality: Hybrid (majority of time in the office).
• Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship with a hiring range between $39,000 and $51,187.50, depending on experience and qualifications.
