2026 Fall Intern - Field Application Specialist Intern

About the role#

This is a 12-month, full-time internship beginning in September 2026. As a Field Application Specialist Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the healthcare technology sector by supporting the diagnostic instrumentation that allows physicians to make critical medical decisions. You will receive direct, one-on-one mentorship from senior technical specialists while contributing to work that impacts patient health.

What you'll do#

• Shadow senior application specialists to learn how to troubleshoot diagnostic instrumentation.
• Observe and assist with training delivery methods and customer integration for new or updated systems.
• Interpret technical information, software logs, and diagnostic tools to support troubleshooting and customer validation.
• Apply industry best practices for technical documentation.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree or diploma program in Medical Lab Technology, Science, or a closely related technical field.
• Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal) to effectively support clients in both languages.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a natural curiosity for how complex systems operate.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional presence when guiding clients through technical issues.
• A valid driver’s license.

Location & details#

• Location: Laval, Quebec.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (majority of time in the office).
• Term: Full-time (35 hours per week) for 12 months, starting September 2026.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship with a hiring range of $39,000.00 to $51,187.50 CAD.
