About the role#
The Quality Engineer Intern at rms Company supports technical projects from scope definition through implementation. This role involves direct collaboration with departments like engineering, quality, sales, marketing, and finance to improve processes and designs. You will work on-site in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for internal customers and part manufacturability.
- Assist with the implementation of design and process improvements.
- Support compliance with ISO standards, medical device requirements, and the internal Quality System.
- Read and follow standard work and work instructions.
- Partner across business segments to understand customer needs and core markets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Ability to read blueprints and use various measuring devices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.
