About the role#
The Summer Associate Program at Rivkin Radler LLP offers law students hands-on experience and insight into the practice of law. You will work alongside experienced attorneys on substantive legal tasks across various practice areas. This program provides exposure to client interactions, case management, and legal strategy to complement your formal education.
What you'll do#
- Research and analyze various legal issues.
- Draft memos, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Help attorneys prepare for hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and case strategy sessions.
- Collaborate on complex transactions and litigation matters.
- Attend internal training sessions and workshops.
- Assist with pro bono projects and community service initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Completion of at least one year of law studies by the start of the program.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- A commitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and client service.
