About the role#
As an intern, you will contribute to the software running inside software-defined vehicles. This includes work on infotainment systems, mobile applications, wireless and telematics integration, and visual features. You will be matched to a specific team based on your background and interests during the interview process.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test software features within an existing infotainment, mobile, or connectivity application.
- Write code in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python depending on your team assignment.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to understand feature requirements.
- Debug and resolve issues found during development or testing.
- Present your work and progress to your team throughout the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited US university.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience developing Android applications or familiarity with the Android Automotive OS framework.
- Coursework or project experience with wireless protocols such as LTE, Wi-Fi, or BLE.
- Exposure to 3D graphics engines such as Unreal Engine, OpenGL, or Vulkan.

- Location: Irvine, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
