    About the role#

    Rite-Hite is hiring an Engineering Intern for our Dubuque location. This is a paid, part-time position for students currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. You will work on-site to assist our teams with design, development, and testing projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist engineers with daily design, development, and testing activities.
    • Collect and analyze data to support ongoing projects.
    • Create and update engineering models, technical reports, and drawings.
    • Research materials, components, and new methods as assigned.
    • Support quality checks, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
    • Attend team meetings, project reviews, and presentations.
    • Follow safety procedures and engineering standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program for Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Familiarity with engineering tools and modeling techniques.
    • A willingness to learn and adapt.
    • Experience with CAD, MATLAB, Python, or similar software is preferred.
    • Prior experience through labs, projects, or previous internships is a plus.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and technical concepts.

    • This is an on-site, part-time internship.
