Software Engineer Intern

About the role#

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join an engineering team for a 13-week period to develop robust products, implement new features, and solve complex problems. You will be assigned projects designed to provide meaningful business impact while allowing you to experience the responsibilities and ownership of a full-time engineer. You will be supported by a dedicated mentor and manager throughout the program.

What you'll do#

• Solve problems and develop quality code by applying your software engineering experience to impactful projects.
• Apply critical thinking to address complex, real-world technical challenges.
• Participate in team meetings to scope, drive, and progress your assigned projects.
• Gain an understanding of the business, client needs, and the broader impact of your team's work.
• Attend Meet & Greets with executives and various teams to gain a holistic view of company operations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous internship or Co-op experience in software engineering with a focus on Python.
• Solid programming skills with an emphasis on backend development.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration across departments.
• An adaptable mindset with the ability to ask action-oriented questions to drive progress.

Location & details#

• Term: Winter 2027 (January through April).
• Location: California, United States.
• Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position. Employees are expected to work from the office at least three days per week.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
• Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.
