About the role#
The Fall 2026 Major Gifts Research Intern will support the development team by conducting prospect research and managing database integrity. This is a paid, part-time, remote internship running from September 14, 2026, to December 4, 2026. Interns are expected to work between 20 and 30 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Conduct preliminary prospect research using public sources.
- Enter and maintain research notes and prospect information in the CRM database.
- Assist with processing reports and synthesizing monthly wealth screenings.
- Prepare research summaries for gift officers to support cultivation and solicitation meetings.
- Help track research-driven recommendations and outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Comfort working with databases and spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated alignment with the organization's values.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Public Health, Political Science, Communications, Sociology, Psychology, Data Science, or Economics.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote within the United States.
- Compensation is $19.61 per hour.
- The role is part-time (20-30 hours per week).
