About the role#
REDLattice is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 program in Offensive Cyber Operations and Mobile Vulnerability Research. You will work on real customer requirements and contribute to Computer Network Operations tools. This role involves deep dives into device instrumentation, exploit mitigations, and research methodologies. You will work alongside experienced researchers who provide mentorship throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Solve security problems through vulnerability research and software development.
- Conduct reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, and exploit development for mobile and embedded systems.
- Develop offensive cybersecurity tools and methodologies independently or in small teams.
- Perform low-level system and operating system research.
- Support existing codebases and contribute to new projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous coursework or experience in reverse engineering using tools like Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or gdb.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Assembly languages.
- Familiarity with Git and modern software engineering practices.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
- Eligibility to receive a US Security Clearance.
- Rising junior or senior status is preferred.
