LSQ Seminary Internship Program

About the role#

The LSQ Seminary Internship Program is a one-year, paid, part-time ministry position designed for college graduates who are pursuing seminary education in New York City. This role provides hands-on ministry experience, coaching, and professional development within a church setting. While the program is one year in duration, there may be an opportunity to extend the internship for an additional year.

What you'll do#

• Work 20 hours per week for 50 weeks, with two weeks of vacation.
• Serve in a specific ministry area, such as Pastoral Care, Community Life, Mercy & Justice, Worship Arts, or Youth Ministry, with assigned leadership responsibilities.
• Participate as a member of the LSQ staff, including attendance at weekly staff meetings.
• Meet regularly with supervisors and pastors for encouragement, ministry development, and coaching.

What you'll need#

• An undergraduate degree.
• Enrollment in a seminary program located in New York City, or plans to enroll prior to the start of the internship. You must remain enrolled throughout the program.
• Membership in a Gospel-Centered Church and a formal recommendation from your church to serve as an intern at Redeemer LSQ.
• Regular attendance at Redeemer LSQ for the duration of the internship.
• A demonstrated motivation to participate in the program for the benefit of others and the glory of God.

• Hiring Cadence: Rolling basis.
• Compensation: $28–$32 per hour.
