About the role#
This is an 11-week summer internship for the 2027 season. You will join a cohort of interns and work directly with a manager and mentor to gain hands-on industry experience. The goal of this program is to prepare you for a full-time return offer. You will receive in-depth onboarding, two structured performance reviews, and the opportunity to present your work to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Transform millions of impressions and unstructured data into insights that connect brands and consumers.
- Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, optimization techniques, or LLMs to solve real-world challenges.
- Own data science projects from start to finish with limited guidance.
- Collect and mine data from disparate sources to understand the underlying processes.
- Communicate project status, timelines, and technical results to business and data science leaders.
- Translate business opportunities into data science problems by defining scope and performance metrics.
- Drive strategy, build tests, pivot, improve, and iterate on your projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- You are graduating in Winter 2027 or Summer 2028.
- You have experience solving complex problems through predictive modeling.
- You possess extensive experience querying and processing data from complex relational databases.
- You have strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, or optimization.
- You are proficient in statistical programming using R or Python.
- You have the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate recommendations to leadership.
- Expertise in deep learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, LLMs, or recommendation systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of digital attribution, digital data investigation, and testing skills is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
- The work modality is hybrid, with office attendance required Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfer.
