About the role#
We are looking for Mechanical Engineering interns to join our product development teams. You will gain hands-on experience in mechanical design and consulting by working on projects from initial concept through to production. This position is based in Wilmington, Massachusetts, for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with product development teams to bring new technologies to market.
- Develop mechanical designs for a variety of projects.
- Build and test prototypes using our in-house shop equipment.
- Use testing data to refine and improve your designs.
- Meet with clients and present your work to them.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S.M.E. or a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- A broad technical background and a strong desire to learn.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, with a preference for Solidworks.
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining, sheet metal, and casting.
- Experience designing biomedical products.
