About the role#
As a Summer Tree Care Intern, you will help control insects and diseases to improve tree health across the Twin Cities. You will gain hands-on experience in the field while supporting our efforts to manage invasive pests. This is a full-time, paid position for the 2027 summer season, and we can adjust start and end dates to fit your academic schedule. This role may fulfill internship requirements for students in Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, Biology, or related fields.
What you'll do#
- Mix and apply products following company, state, and federal standards.
- Apply treatments and monitor trees to ensure proper intake.
- Record treated trees using electronic systems.
- Speak with homeowners in a professional manner.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Comfort working full days outdoors in all terrain and weather conditions.

- This position is based in Minnetonka, Little Canada, or Burnsville, Minnesota.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid summer internship.
