    About the role#

    As a Product Quality Engineering Intern, you will work with our quality team to ensure our products remain safe and durable. You will assist in testing new concepts and reviewing existing products to support our engineering goals. This is a paid, full-time position.

    What you'll do#

    • Run in-house mechanical and electrical tests on new product concepts and share your findings.
    • Design and build prototypes of product changes and test fixtures in our shop using 3D printing, wood, and metal.
    • Conduct benchmarking studies through hands-on experimentation.
    • Evaluate returns from retail partners and perform root cause analysis to suggest improvements.
    • Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory to verify order accuracy and quality.
    • Coordinate with engineering teams in the U.S. and overseas to complete projects.

    What you'll need#

    • Junior or senior standing in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering program.
    • A minimum 3.0 grade point average.
    • Experience using Solidworks CAD software.
    • Ability to use tools to build simple fixtures.
    • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project timelines.
    • Experience in a machine shop or with mechatronics is preferred.
