About the role#
The Logistics Analyst Support Intern role provides hands-on experience in logistics analytics and daily operations. You will work in Fremont, Ohio, to support data collection, reporting, and process improvement. This internship lasts 10 to 12 weeks with a typical schedule of 20 to 30 hours per week. You will work alongside experienced team members to learn how transportation, dispatch, and coordination activities function in a real-world setting.
What you'll do#
- Collect and organize transportation and operational data.
- Create basic reports, dashboards, and summaries for the logistics team.
- Shadow and assist with daily dispatching, routing, and driver coordination.
- Review data accuracy and system utilization within logistics and operational systems.
- Support communication between logistics, operations, and 3rd party carriers.
- Document processes and help identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Prior exposure to or a strong interest in the transportation and logistics industry.
- Current enrollment or a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Coursework or academic projects related to logistics, transportation, or analytics are preferred.
