About the role#
The Vendor Management Intern supports the administration and organization of the vendor management process at Purdue Federal Credit Union. You will help gather and review due diligence information, coordinate risk assessments with internal relationship managers, and assist with the vetting process. This role provides hands-on experience through active involvement in projects within a mentored environment.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate the vendor intake process to ensure new vendors meet requirements.
- Collect and review vendor information and due diligence documents for compliance and risk evaluation.
- Use nContracts and nVendor to add, update, and organize vendor records.
- Review moderate- and low-risk contracts for service level agreements and business continuity or disaster recovery requirements.
- Upload contracts and due diligence documents.
- Enter contract details and map parent and child contract relationships.
- Monitor vendor performance and risk assessments.
- Track contract dates and update vendor renewal notifications.
- Create and compile reports from nContracts and nVendor.
- Use approved AI tools to support contract reviews, build queries, and organize information.
- Collaborate with Vendor Management and Enterprise Risk Management teams to improve processes.
- Respond to employee questions regarding vendor policies and system use.
- Support other assigned vendor management projects.

- Familiarity with Smartsheet, nContracts, or nVendor is a plus.
