About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term based in New York. You will work on-site with the Production Department to support the creation and maintenance of seasonal collections. This role provides hands-on experience in the business of fashion by working closely with various internal teams.
What you'll do#
- Create swatches and apply them to cut tickets for contractors.
- Prepare samples for fittings, including steaming and measuring.
- Assist with the creation of trim packages and maintain patternmaker style sheets.
- Research and source materials, trims, and fabrics based on seasonal needs.
- Support factory communications, shipments, and logistics within the garment district.
- Help maintain an organized and efficient studio environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in Graphic Design, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Understanding of woven and knitwear garment construction.
- A strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PLM databases is a plus.
