Nursing Assistant Student

About the role#

The Nursing Assistant Student role is designed for students currently enrolled in a Providence Nursing Assistant Training program. You will function under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager or designee, working within a scope of practice determined by your skills and the supervising manager. This is a full-time, paid position with rolling enrollment.

What you'll do#

• Provide close, continuous observation to ensure patient safety, comfort, and a secure care environment.
• Perform basic patient care tasks as delegated by a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager.
• Document all patient observation and care activities accurately.
• Complete non-direct patient care duties as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a Providence Nursing Assistant Training program.
• Completion of at least two months of successful employment in good standing to be eligible for the NAC Training Program.
• Possession of a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work under direct supervision.
