About the role#
This internship focuses on building sales skills within the IT services industry. You will spend the majority of your time prospecting and managing sales activities, with additional time dedicated to customer relations and sales support. This is a paid, full-time position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Seek out and engage prospects to generate and qualify leads.
- Schedule sales calls and manage your pipeline using our database.
- Learn our full range of technology products, solutions, and services.
- Create and deliver sales pitches via email, phone, social media, and in-person meetings.
- Evaluate customer business needs to present relevant solutions.
- Assist Managed Services Specialists with end-user training, assessments, and walk-throughs.
- Provide administrative support using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Maintain a customer-first approach in all interactions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a college degree, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A history of success in areas like academics, sports, or previous work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver’s license and a polished professional demeanor.
- The ability to initiate contact with strangers and persuade others to your point of view.
- Resilience when facing objections, interruptions, or changes.
- Strong organizational, listening, and communication skills.
- A self-determined and results-driven mindset.
