About the role#
Professional Services Group seeks a Doctoral Fellow to provide clinical services including mental health therapy and psychological evaluations. You will work with individuals and families in both clinic and community settings across Southeastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Washington, Jefferson, and Rock counties.
What you'll do#
- Interview and evaluate individuals and families to complete the intake process.
- Provide assessments for therapeutic needs.
- Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
- Perform psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.
- Act as an advocate for clients during emergency or crisis situations.
- Attend clinical supervision sessions with a licensed psychologist.
- Participate in staffing meetings and make recommendations.
- Attend court hearings to present treatment progress or evaluation results and advocate for additional services.
What you'll need#
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree.
- Eligibility for future licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin.
- Previous experience providing individual, family, and group therapy.
- Experience conducting psychological or neuropsychological evaluations.
- Reliable daily transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
- Possession of an LPC or related training license is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a part-time, on-site role with rolling start dates.
- Work hours are flexible between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Positions are available in West Allis and throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
