About the role#
Precision Walls, Inc. offers an internship program for students to gain hands-on experience in construction management. Interns work in both field and office settings to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world construction operations. This role is paid and full-time.
What you'll do#
Interns participate in orientation and training to learn about production, tools, and materials. You will rotate through two primary focus areas over the course of twelve weeks.
In field and project management, you will:
- Manage materials and equipment.
- Handle material ordering and job cost reports.
- Coordinate schedules and drive meetings.
- Engage with customers.
In project management and estimating, you will:
- Review scope packages for bids.
- Complete project budgets and price projects.
- Set up projects and manage hand-offs to the field.
- Track project progress and report findings.
- Handle invoicing and cost projections.
- Learn estimating software and best practices.
- Conduct pre-bid walk-throughs and monitor lead times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program.
- Status as a first or second year student.
- Interest in Civil Engineering or related fields.

- This internship is remote.
- Positions are available for students in NC, SC, VA, and TN.
- Employment is contingent upon a background check and drug screening.
