About the role#
Precision Medicine Group is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 Market Access Consulting team. This role offers hands-on experience working on real client engagements alongside industry experts. You will function similarly to a full-time Analyst, contributing directly to project teams and client deliverables. This is a full-time, paid internship with a minimum commitment of eight weeks.
What you'll do#
- Work with project teams to understand client objectives, plans, and timelines.
- Conduct primary and secondary research using internal and external sources.
- Gather, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Develop strategic recommendations based on research findings and market insights.
- Identify trends and draw conclusions from complex information.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and problem-solving discussions.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other client-facing deliverables.
- Participate in project meetings and support follow-up tasks.
- Seek and incorporate feedback from team members and project leaders.
- Support business development and proposal activities.
- Participate in a collaborative intern project with fellow interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MBA, or other relevant degree program.
- Undergraduate students should have an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029. Advanced degree candidates should be within one year of graduation.
- Academic concentration in Life Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Business, Healthcare, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
- Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, consulting, or market access.
- Previous internship, research, or leadership experience is preferred.
- Experience analyzing data and presenting findings is preferred.
- Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
