The Valuation Intern program offers students an introduction to investment banking and advisory services. Interns work alongside project teams on business valuations, ESOP advisory, and corporate finance assignments. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience through mentorship and participation in day-to-day project workflows.
What you'll do#
- Prepare client deliverables, including valuation reports, presentations, and confidential marketing materials.
- Conduct research on industry and economic trends.
- Assist with valuation modeling projects, including discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, transaction screening, and LBO modeling.
- Participate in project discussions and internal team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Completed coursework in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a team environment.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois (Loop).
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site, 20–30 hours per week.
- Compensation: $21–$23 per hour.
