Valuation Intern

About the role#

The Valuation Intern program provides students with an in-depth look at investment banking and advisory services. Interns work alongside project teams to gain exposure to business valuations, ESOP advisory, and corporate finance assignments. This role is designed to build professional skills through mentorship and active participation in client engagements.

What you'll do#

• Prepare client deliverables, including valuation reports, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Conduct industry and economic research to support project teams.
• Assist with valuation modeling projects, such as discounted cash flow, LBO modeling, and transaction screening.
• Develop guidelines for comparable company analysis.
• Participate in internal project discussions and team meetings.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Completed coursework in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Economics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a team environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Location: Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
• Term: Winter 2027.
• Work Modality: On-site (in-office).
• Commitment: 20 to 30 hours per week.
• Compensation: $21 – $23 per hour.
