About the role#
PowerSouth Energy Cooperative offers a learning environment for engineering students. This co-op position provides hands-on experience and exposure to utility operations during your work rotation.
What you'll do#
- Assist various engineering groups with assigned tasks.
- Learn the processes and procedures necessary to support engineering operations.
- Provide engineering support to the team as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student at a four-year university.
- Current major in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 2.0.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Demonstrated maturity, professionalism, responsibility, and dependability.
- Flexibility regarding work assignments and schedules.

- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid position with holiday pay provided during work rotations.
