About the role#
The Port of Huntsville is hiring a Marketing Intern for a full-time, paid position. This role is based on-site at the Huntsville International Airport. We accept applications on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
You will help the marketing team with daily operations and outreach. Your primary tasks include:
- Sharing public information.
- Developing content for social media channels.
- Creating promotional collateral materials.
- Monitoring relevant news reports.
What you'll need#
We are looking for a 3rd or 4th year student currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college. You should be pursuing a degree in marketing, public relations, advertising, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Candidates must demonstrate the following skills:
- Understanding of effective marketing techniques.
- Experience with the Constant Contact Data Management System.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar image editing software.
- Familiarity with modern office practices and the ability to operate standard office equipment like computers, copiers, and printers.

This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama. The pay is $15 per hour.
