About the role#
The In-Step internship program is a 20-week, stipend-based work readiness initiative for young adults. It is split into two parts. You will start with 10 weeks of work readiness workshops. After completing this training, you will be assigned to either an internal or external internship placement.
What you'll do#
- Attend work readiness workshops for the first 10 weeks of the program.
- Provide ongoing assistance to your assigned worksite staff.
- Participate as an active member of your team.
- Adapt to changes as situations arise in the workplace.
What you'll need#
- You must be between 16 and 19 years old.
- A positive outlook and a team-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to be creative and flexible.
Location & details#
- Location: Jamaica, New York.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- The program operates on a rolling basis.
