Marketing Intern

About the role#

Plug and Play is seeking a Marketing Intern to join the global marketing team in the Silicon Valley office. This role focuses on content creation and storytelling to support innovation programs, startup ecosystems, corporate partnerships, and thought leadership initiatives. This is a paid, full-time summer 2026 internship requiring on-site attendance.

What you'll do#

• Write and edit content including blogs, reports, lead magnets, case studies, and interviews focused on technology trends and venture capital.
• Optimize published content to improve organic performance across search and AI-driven discovery platforms.
• Research and propose visuals, such as photos, videos, infographics, and social assets.
• Support internal marketing requests from global teams, including the creation of presentations, flyers, and event materials.
• Capture and repurpose content into short-form videos, social posts, and visual assets.
• Monitor content performance and track competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills in English.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, including their respective algorithms.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of SEO, content optimization, and AI search visibility (GEO) is a strong advantage.
• Basic experience with video editing, photography, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not mandatory.
