IT Intern

About the role#

The IT Intern will support the daily operations of the IT department, gaining hands-on experience in desktop support, workstation provisioning, software installation, account management, and AV support. You will work alongside the IT team to maintain hardware and software systems, contribute to internal documentation, and assist with corporate events.

What you'll do#

• Provide direct technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity, and data access.
• Provision and configure Mac and Windows computers for new employees.
• Manage user accounts across various IT platforms.
• Support AV systems for meetings and events, including video conferencing, audio, and digital signage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating as necessary.
• Assist with operating system updates, software patches, and routine hardware maintenance.
• Create and update internal documentation, knowledge base articles, and process guides.
• Help organize and track IT equipment, including laptops and peripherals.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in IT support, systems administration, networking, and workplace technology.
• Basic understanding of Mac and Windows operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot devices and networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to occasionally support urgent needs or events outside standard business hours.
