About the role#
The Campus Outreach Intern supports youth engagement and volunteer recruitment across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. You will work under the supervision of the Minnesota Organizing Manager to promote reproductive health services and help mobilize college students. This is a part-time, paid position offering between 5 and 10 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Meet regularly with the Minnesota Organizing Manager and Senior Youth Organizing Associate to plan outreach events.
- Assist with the recruitment and facilitation of youth engagement activities.
- Help organize Get Out the Vote efforts, including phone banking and canvassing.
- Promote local Planned Parenthood health centers on college campuses.
- Network and build relationships with student groups.
- Coordinate and carry out advocacy campaigns.
- Complete administrative tasks such as data entry and email communications.
- Attend and support special events.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in social justice activism, including reproductive, racial, and queer justice.
- Willingness to learn about sexual and reproductive health topics.
- Ability to communicate effectively with college students.
- Support for the mission of Planned Parenthood.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Location & details#
- This role is hybrid and requires travel to campuses for outreach and events.
- Consistent access to reliable transportation is required.
- The internship term runs from Fall 2026 through May 2027.
- Compensation is $17 per hour.
