LA Internship Summer 2026

About the role#

Place Showroom offers an internship program for students looking to gain industry experience and insight into the fashion business. Interns work alongside Showroom Coordinators and Account Executives to support daily operations and showroom management. This position requires professionalism, integrity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

What you'll do#

• Monitor and track sample inventory and send samples to buyers and sales representatives.
• Assist the team with order confirmations and ongoing order maintenance.
• Prepare for market weeks and shows by booking and confirming appointments.
• Maintain the showroom appearance before, during, and after appointments, including unpacking, steaming, and merchandising collections.
• Participate in showroom appointments and assist Sales Reps with note-taking and order processing.
• Learn to use industry software including Showroom Exchange, NuOrder, and Joor.
• Handle daily administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and tracking sales through Excel spreadsheets.
• Assist with fashion trade show setup and breakdown.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university with the ability to receive course credit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address needs as they arise.
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
