About the role#
This is a paid, full-time co-op position based in Collingwood, Ontario. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of our manufacturing operations. The role involves moving between the office and the production floor to support various departments and projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering, maintenance, production, quality, and continuous improvement projects.
- Collect, organize, and analyze operational and production data.
- Participate in efficiency initiatives and process improvements.
- Support preventative maintenance planning and documentation.
- Help with quality inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Update procedures, work instructions, reports, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and safety teams.
- Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives throughout the facility.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a recognized college or university co-op program.
- Studies in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in both office and plant environments while using required personal protective equipment.
