About the role#
Piedmont is hiring a Cath Lab Tech Intern for our Atlanta location. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
As an intern, you will support physicians during invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. You will learn the Cath Lab and EP equipment, including how to maintain it. Your role involves providing direct and indirect clinical care to patients throughout their procedures.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED
- Current enrollment in a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire
- No prior work experience is required for this position
