About the role#
The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing department with social media efforts while following brand guidelines. You will generate animations, title cards, and graphics for our social channels and lobby screens. This position provides an opportunity to learn about coordinating animated content and following marketing plans for upcoming productions.
What you'll do#
- Create animations for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, covering both paid and organic content.
- Develop content based on social media calendars and brand guidelines.
- Use animation software to produce high-quality visuals.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives.
- Support the team with additional duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Background knowledge of the performing arts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in animation and specifically animating for social media.
- Familiarity with social media channels.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site at the Philadelphia Ballet Center for Dance.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Commitment: 5 to 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
