The College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State Extension is seeking a Part-Time Field and Forage Crops Intern. This position is based in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, with travel required throughout Lackawanna, Pike, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties. The role is part-time at 30 hours per week for a short-term period, with a starting pay rate of $17.75 per hour plus travel compensation.
What you'll do#
- Perform crop scouting and field data collection.
- Provide support for research trials.
- Conduct farm visits and provide client support.
What you'll need#
- A background in agricultural science, environmental engineering, or biology.
- Access to a motor vehicle for travel.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and a motor vehicle record screening.
