About the role#
This internship provides a foundation in the oil and gas industry. You will learn how data management technology and applications function within the industry. The program focuses on mentorship within our Well Data Lifecycle or Production Data Lifecycle product lines. You will work alongside implementation teams to gain insight into real business practices.
What you'll do#
- Manage the input and consolidation of operator data.
- Develop an understanding of strategic business applications and database management systems used by oil and gas operators.
- Attend meetings with Product Managers and executives to review and consult on data.
- Participate in industry courses and on the job training to learn field terminology and risk analysis concepts.
- Gain exposure to industry practices, including potential visits to operator work sites.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your first year of Engineering coursework.
- You must be entering your second or third year of an Engineering degree, such as Computer, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
- An interest in pursuing a career in the oil and gas industry.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
