About the role#
Parkson Group is looking for a technically driven intern to join our team in Golden, Colorado. You will support our IT Helpdesk by handling hardware and software incidents. You will work alongside our Helpdesk Technician to provide technical assistance and ensure our systems run smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Install, configure, upgrade, and restore PCs and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide support to users in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve technical problems.
- Install computer peripherals and perform routine hardware maintenance.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of computer systems and spare accessories.
- Secure the IT room and manage access.
- Document all incidents and ensure issues are forwarded to the helpdesk appropriately.
- Follow up with users to confirm that their technical issues are resolved.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT certification.
- Previous experience working in a diverse office environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with hardware and software maintenance.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking is a plus.
