About the role#
Paradigm Power Delivery is hiring an Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Overland Park, Kansas. You will work within our construction department to support ongoing projects and field operations.
What you'll do#
You will assist our project managers and engineers with daily project tasks. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing material takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Completing basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations.
- Gathering and preparing data for submittal to customers, vendors, subcontractors, and agencies.
- Preparing purchase orders and subcontracts, including minor solicitations.
- Maintaining project records, correspondence, daily reports, and photographs.
- Entering data into the job cost system and reviewing cost reports with site management.
- Generating change orders and as-built data for project manager review.
