About the role#
The Summer 2027 Actuarial Internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the financial services industry. Interns will work on projects that contribute to company goals while receiving mentorship from executive and peer leaders. The program includes product training, rotational learning sessions, and networking opportunities to provide a comprehensive understanding of the actuarial profession.
What you'll do#
- Participate in actuarial projects to gain practical insight into the profession.
- Create dashboards to visualize data.
- Conduct Cash Flow Analysis and Rider Analysis.
- Develop tools to improve team efficiency.
- Attend rotational events to learn about departments such as modeling, risk management, product design, pricing, valuation, and reinsurance.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 1 Society of Actuaries exam.
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or Computer Science.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- A desire to gain professional experience in the actuarial field.
