About the role#
The Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus is hiring an intern for the district office of Representative Rick Krajewski. This is a paid, 10-week position requiring 20 hours of work per week. You will learn about the legislative process and assist with daily operations in the district office.
What you'll do#
- Respond to constituent inquiries and draft outgoing correspondence.
- Conduct online research to support office communications.
- Manage office files, contact lists, and reference materials.
- Help organize and attend external events.
- Represent the State Representative at community events as requested.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to listen, solve problems, and communicate clearly with constituents and staff.
- Capacity to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Skill in contributing ideas for event planning and coordination.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act professionally at all times.
- A collaborative mindset for working within a team.

- This role is located at 4712 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA.
- This position is 100% on-site and does not offer telework.
- Compensation is $15.00 per hour.
