About the role#
Oxley Enterprises, Inc. offers a 90-day internship designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional corporate environment. This role supports our professional staff across Human Resources, Recruiting, General Business, Business Development, and AI enablement. You will work under direct supervision to complete tasks that help you build a foundation for your future career.
What you'll do#
- Human Resources: Write monthly employee engagement emails, assist with the bi-monthly newsletter, support salary surveys, and help update job descriptions.
- Recruiting: Manage interview scheduling, prepare correspondence, create interview screeners, and track recruiting metrics.
- Business Development: Perform agency and opportunity research, update the business pipeline, and support proposal development by organizing performance data.
- AI Enablement: Help set up and test AI tools, create documentation for AI workflows, develop prompts, and assist staff with AI adoption.
- General Support: Maintain templates and processes, manage document formatting, and provide administrative support for quality management activities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a preference for Juniors or Seniors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Working knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude.
- Ability to handle sensitive data, including Controlled Unclassified Information and Personally Identifiable Information.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident who has lived in the United States for at least 3 years.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, part-time position with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour.
- The internship is open to residents of all U.S. jurisdictions except for the following: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, ND, OR, PR, RI, SD, VT, VA, WA, and WY.
- This role requires the ability to perform sedentary work, including typing and viewing computer monitors for extended periods.
