About the role#
OrthoSC offers a shadowing opportunity for students interested in a career in healthcare. This program provides exposure to clinical environments and the delivery of orthopedic care. It is an unpaid, on-site experience with a rolling schedule based on availability.
What you'll do#
- Observe day-to-day clinical operations within an orthopedic setting.
- Watch patient interactions and clinical workflows.
- See how different disciplines collaborate to provide care.
- Gain insight into patient care processes and provider interactions.
What you'll need#
- A completed Student Shadowing Application.
- A certificate of completion for OSHA and HIPAA training.
- Signed parental or guardian consent forms if you are under age 18.
- Adherence to all company policies, including professionalism and patient privacy standards.
- Compliance with clinical dress code requirements.
